Tristan, I'll be using all three sets of rims & tyres: Hosted on FotkiThey're "Interchangeable"! Saltster's Wires, Steelies & Alloys: Hosted on FotkiEach set gives the car a different look. If you'd like to see the build from the beginning, just go back up to either of the pictures above and double click on the picture with your mouse and it will take you right to the fotki album of progress pictures. Well they can't say you don't know how to have a good time. Having been through kidney stones 3 times now I can honestly say I know how you feel Brother. They are without a doubt the most painful thing I have ever endured. If I never have to ever deal with them again I will be forever happy.
The Saltster is coming along incredibility well. Every update is even more impressive the the last.
In Christ

CT scan showed 4 and maybe 5 working there way out and another tad bit larger resting in my right kidney - may have to blast that one , unless the decide to go after it with the jaws of life!?. Amen

So it's come to this, eh Kit? To where you can't stop taking pictures of the car-- except it's 3 cars! ;D Primer brought it all together. Rev II really looks outstanding, with the steelies, getting the very sllight edge. Looks classy thataway. Still think the Saltster would look awesome with full moons.....Later and God bless

I have a repop of the vintage Monogram 32 Ford dragstrip roadster that has full moons on the front-- the vintage Monogram Big John dragster has 'em too, I believe. Not chromed tho, the ones in the 32 are a nice maroon color MPC 49 Merc snapper has something like full moons. Probably too small diameter wise tho... I have a Lindy 32 Ford pu that has 'em, might work for you.... ...... they're yours if ya want them-- just PM me your address and I'll put 'em on a horse I found a couple inner wheels off a 23 T, and cut the spokes 'n hub out of the one for a rim..... .... then set one of the Lindy moons in there for a look see The widey white is out of the '28 Lincoln, and the moon aint quite big enough for it. Don't know if any of that appeals to you, and/but if it doesn't, you might want to check out this thread-- Good old 'Gramps' did a little 'how to make yer own spun caps' over on Plasticaholics Anonymous: olskoolmodelbuilders.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=tipsntrix&action=display&thread=359 'Gramps' aka Bill, does some incredible work, and he seems to know just about all the tricks ;D You got me to the bench Wes! I've been getting the urge, and after seeing all the unfinished builds in my Fotki -- I better spend some time at the bench-- get something done! Thanks Later, and God bless
