Brother Wes, you sure know how to get peoples attention!!!!!!!!!!! Studied under P.T. Barnum and Ripley, believe it or not!?. That brings me to the next installment in the '29 Saltster build: What goes behind the roadster body and between the back '28 Lincoln tires? Answer: An Oval Tank & a Turtle Deck! Hosted on FotkiSources: The Oval Tank, soon to be made from the shorter of the two shown behind the mock up, will be placed between the outer halves made by splitting the taller one in two... and the Turtle Deck is from the old Monogram Stinger Dragster kit... Tank Parts: Hosted on FotkiThe Tank, the Turtle Deck & the Plan: Hosted on FotkiOne half of the taller parts will be cut into and added to the back of the body... the other half will be mated to the front of the turtle deck and the smaller unit will become the oval tank in between the body and the turtle deck... Have a very Blessed day and Happy Modeling!

That was exactly the source of the tank for the '29 stretched rod (note to self, get this one finished). The cool thing is you can change the length or the cross section just by making a couple of cuts. That plastic doesn't bond well with anything except CA type glues. The 'Standard' size works well for 1/16th scale as well. Hosted on Fotki

What a way to merge it all together and incorporate the tank! One question tho: Why aren't you going to run with the luggage rack? ;D Gonna look good in paint! Later and God bless
