Been way too busy to even visit my bench in the last few months!! ('nother story for 'nother time...) I came across a R&M Co. of MD "Hallock" Style V'd Windshield Frame (Thanks Norman & Rik). Here's the long over due update on the Saltster plan: Hosted on FotkiFollowing the comments about the hood, the Rev II version will have a Hallock Windshield and a Smooth Hood with just the Quad Deuces poking thru... So, now there will be a "Flats" version with the windscreens and a "Street" version with the smooth hood and the Hallock windshield as an open roadster. Same great body with a minor, above the belt, make over! Keep Modeling In His Name!! KK

Now that's a kool idea Wes! 2 different bodies! Looking forward to seeing the open roadster mockup Later and God bless Thanks, John... Need to get back to the bench, so much! I know the Lord will provide the time as He sees fit. He has me involved in so many ministries right now, though. Every spare moment that comes clear on my calender He fills with a need to be tended to for or on the behalf of one of my Brothers and/or Sisters in Christ. As a teenager I once heard one of my parents "friends" say, "My way or the highway!" I now hear it as a real God thing! First, My way or the "worlds" way! And, even more importantly, My way is the High way! Have a very Blessed day

Amen to that Wes! So cool how we see things differently as we grow in Christ. I like to think that when Jesus said "Nevertheless, not My will be done, but YOURS" , HE was teaching us to say the same, meaning: NEVER THE LESS-- our will being 'less' than what God knows is best for all involved and for HIS Glory-- but we should seek the opposite, 'ALWAYS THE MORE'-- HIS Will. Later and God bless

This just keeps gettin' better! Tristan, Thanks, Brother Do you have something to do with www.thepartsbox.com?I was told that www.thepartsbox.com has a version of the E&J headlamps available, do you know if that's true? And, do you know if I could get just a set of V-12 Finned Heads or do I need to buy the entire kit? Have a Blessed day, Wes

Contact them and ask for the headlights by name. They may still do them even though they aren't listed. Same for the heads, ask and see what they say. They had an overhaul of their inventory a little while ago,and anything slow moving was delisted. Like I mentioned, just ask for the part by name. Just remember the minimum order is $25AUD so you may need to pad it out a bit if they do just those parts you mentioned.Make sure you mention my name. My involvement is limited to making some of the masters for the sprintcar range of parts. I've known Jason since high school and Michelle since they got together earlier this decade. They are good people.

Ok, now I see! I was thinking you were gonna cover up that little turtley deck with the trunk lid area of the 'street' body topper, but just that little bit of cowling and that laid back windshield will certainly give it quite a different look

I completely agree with John, I'm glad you posted a photo of what you had in mind. I wasn't sure if you were going to build a companion Roadster for the Saltster or what the plans were, but now that I see what you're up to it makes a whole lot more sense.
Love the idea BTW.

Looks like you used the tips of a couple ball point pens for them? Very nice idea-- I'll have to incorporate that into some future build
