As many of you know I have been looking for a job for the past 18 months. Fortunately with the severance package from the position I was downsized from and unemployment we have managed to make it through.
The Great Blessing is that on Monday the 26th I go to work for Canon Business Solutions here in Portland. I was recommended for the position by a member of their Sales Staff, a gentleman I had worked with at 2 previous companies.
During the second interview they ask what I needed money wise if I were offered the job. I told them with the skills I would be bringing to the team I was worth $30 an hour and they agreed but ask what I needed to come to work for them if offered the job. I gave them a range figuring they would go for the bottom end of the spread. Instead they offered $.21 less then the top of the range.
By the time I go in Monday morning I will be down to the last 5 weeks of the final extension of unemployment. Once again God has taken care of His children.
I thank you for your prayer support during this difficult time and ask that you continue to pray for Teri and I as over the next few months we will be required to be apart for 2-3 weeks at a time while I'm off to training to come up to speed on Canon's equipment.
In Christ. Dave

Fletch and Wes, Glad to hear how God is coming through with providing funds to keep going. I have for the last two years kept a journal of what GOD was doing in my life. I can tell you from personal experience I have never missed a meal or mortgage payment. God always provided. Did I have doubts YES.... But All I had to do was read the times HE came through for me and My faith was strenghten. Oh by the way in case you don't think GOD has a sense of humor while bailing me out of my latest fiasco. I had an overdraft on my checking for 107.50. I forgot about a transaction I had authorized. I prayed because I was afraid my tithe check was going to bounce. I had a model on Ebay for sale for 19.95. In the morning I awoke to a sale of 108.00. seems like GOD used some fo;ks to have a bidding war .... LOL AMAZING GRACE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PEACE AND BLESSINGS CHIP
