im back with projects

Ok well i dropped of the face of this forum for a while. Been going through a bit with the fam and usualy only visited the 2-3 main forums( i know i should have come here too). Still got the family stuff going on plus some other things but been building and listenin to metal music So here is what ive been up to.

50 chevy truck. Been tinkering with this one for a while. Lowered it at all 4 corners with axel over spring in the front and bags in the rear(just for looks prettymuch and a better ride) The interior has a tuck and roll seat. The engine is a inline 6(what else huh) with a scratch built intake replicas and miniatures carbs and scoops, fuel lines from copper wire and 1/16 aluminum rod, wired, and split exhaust. Paint is gonna be like on engine

Ok here is another one. 39 chevy delivery. I think i posted it before. It was a rebuilder. Put in a inline 6 12 port chevy. Put bags in the rear and have it ridin on the kustom wheels from the 29 model a truck from revell. Well the kit came without door panels. Well i made some myself. Gonna make some glass and make my own hinges for the rear door

Also gonna be gettin back onto this project. Started it a while back. Galaxie 48 fleetline. Lowerer it with kit parts, weathered tha chassie, the engine was detailed with wireing, fuel lines, and the kit carbs were replaced with replicas and miniatures company carbs and scoops. Interior is stock

Got this one back a while ago from storage. Revells 49 merc with 56 ford quarter panels, 57 t bird windshield and kustom 57 styline top. The interior will be put together from peices of an ala carte interior. The dash came out of a 59 impala parts kit my friend gave me. Still gots lots of work to do on it.

last of my main projects. Started this 56 nomad couple years ago when my build skills werent as good. Messed up the paint and it sat. Then i decided time for a redo. Took it to the bench stripped the body of the old paint, cut off the ifs on the front and replaced it with 55 chevy truck frame rails stuck an parts box i beam under it with 50 ford truck springs. The rear end is stock 56 nomad. The front rims will be halibrnads from drag city casting with amt front tires. The rear are most likely going to be steelies with orignal 60s amt slicks. The motor is a mix of amt 51 chevy block and tranny with kustom pipes that will be scratch build. The intake is scratch build to except the scot blower from the amt 57 chevy. Im waiting for my friend to get his lathe so he can machine me up some pulleys for it. The scoop is a modified trailer hitch form a 60s annual kit and the dual carbs are from a 53 ford truck kit. The interior will remain stock with the exception of a scratchbuilt rollbar. Anyway thats it for my projects. Hope you like. Also gona be postin up the 3 finished builds.

Here is another one i started tinkering with on wednesday or so. With the recent release of the 37 ford truck with the rod parts i decided to take on alittle chalange. Instead of building the new kit with all the parts in the box i put myself into the spot of a young rodder back in the 50s who just recieved a stock 37 ford truck. Started with revells old issue 37 ford truck with NO hot rod parts. I lowered it with an home made dropped axel. The motor recieved an eddy meyer hop up kit which included dual carb intake and finned heads and one bitchin air cleaner. The point was to build a nice little parts hauler. The wide 5s from the kit were painted bright yellow. The firestones recieved some white walls. The dual exhaust was supplied from the new version of the kit. The bed stakes are also supplied from the new version of the kit since the other will be a kustom. Besides this the kit will remain box stock with a few added details.
