Seems that at least a few of us are members on Facebook. Are we as a group open to the idea of expanding this group ans ministry to Facebook or do you think it would be to big a distraction? Prayerfully consider it and let me know. We can post devotionals just as we do here as well as our work there.
I don't know what kind of impact it would have on the group so before proceeding I'd like your input. If after prayerful consideration enough of us feel that it is a good idea then we will proceed with it. If you feel it is a bad idea then speak up as well, this isn't Dave's ministry, we're all in this together to build the Kingdom of God.

Since I sent out the first email with the question whether we should take this forum more public I have received more then 10 email about it. The discussion is about split in the responses, notice I said "about". The responses so far are running 60% against, 40 % for the idea of establishing the forum on Facebook.
The reasons for why we shouldn't are all very valid, and honestly even if I wanted to argue against the reasons I would be arguing against Godly principle. I ain't a rocket scientist but there's a story about a man and a whale that chose to do the opposite of what God instructed him to do.
So, for the foreseeable future until we are directed by the Spirit of God to do otherwise we will continue to minister to one another. As one of the responses very wisely stated 'Until we have our house in order we shouldn't take on this new challenge'.
One thing that was ask about last year was using the Chat Room attached to the forum for the purpose of Bible Study. I still do not feel called to lead such a study as honestly I don't know where the time would come from to lead. But, I do feel that we are at a place where a Bible study would be a good idea. Prayerfully consider if God is calling you to lead a Bible study here. Schedule a day and time and see how many of the Brothers can participate.
I thank you all for your input today, we are here to honor our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I thank you for your friendship and fellowship.
Your Brother in Christ Dave Fletcher
