First and foremost thank you so very much for your prayer support. It is such a comfort to hand a loved one off to the surgical staff and have no serious concerns about the procedure, knowing full well that God is in control.
A minor mix up on the scheduling, the Dr's office had called to confirm the appointment and somehow mom took it that her check-in time had been moved up to Noon in reality her procedure time was noon and check-in was at 10:30, so a bit of a scramble ensued but all turned out fine in the end.
The procedure was right at 2 hours in length, she came out of the cardiac cath unit looking more alive then she has in months by nothing more then implanting a tiny unit that regulates her heart rate. She will spend the night in the hospital and they will run some tests in the morning and anticipate her leaving the hospital less then 24 hours after the procedure.
