Sometimes you just have to scratch your head and ask "What on earth were they thinking?" Well that seems to be the case with our government and the upcoming 2010 census. The National Association of Latino Elected Officials is distributing the above posters in an attempt to get the entire Latino population counted in the upcoming census. The posters are not being well received. The bigger controversy comes about in that currently there is no way to determine legal U.S. residents from those in the country illegally.

Once again, our elected officials have managed to shoot themselves in the foot by taking a good idea and over thinking it.
