I am torn to include the word 'Happy' when it comes to Veteran's Day. I am happy that I served my country proudly. I am happy that I made it home safely. I am happy for the freedom we have in these United States of America.
However, I am not happy that over 1,000,000 men and women have given their lives since the start of the Revolutionary War for the freedoms that we Americans take for granted.
Please, I ask you Brothers, shake the hand of a Veteran today, thank them for their service and above all else Welcome them home.
