Wow Dave! Some great lookin' models there. Some very creative imaginations amongst them builders. Love the woody 'whatever' that is. One question: is this here coupe a larger scale than the others? Looks like it might be Thanks for posting them. Later and God bless

John, the model is a 1/16th scale Minicraft '31 Model A Pickup that has seriously been modified. The builder is a guy by the name of Rick Goer. The first time I met Rick was earlier this year at our NNL, since then Rick has been at every contest in the NW. Which would be no big deal if he lived in Oregon or Washington but he lives in Weed California which is nothing but a wide spot on I-5 about 20 miles south of the Oregon/California border.
Knowing the shows that Rick has attended this year, I'd venture a guess that he's driven 10K miles. He is a contender for Best in Show anytime he enters. Rick is a great guy, as humble as they come and willing to share any information or technique that he uses on his builds.
In the photos that I posted here from the show the first and last 2 are Ricks. At the OSSM show Rick entered 10 models and had an additional 8-10 on display.
