The past couple of years I have been the track Chaplin and Corner worker at Sunset Speedway in Banks, Or. I know the legend cars very well. They are on our schedule about once every 3 weeks. They flat out scream. Our normal "A" Main for these cars is 24 on a 1/4 dirt banked oval. The track is 18 degrees in the corners and 8 degrees on the straights. The one thing I always know about the legend cars is it will either go green from start to checkers or the only green flag lap will be coming to the checkers.
Last year we had the West Coast Champions race. The "A" Main was to be 50 laps with yellow flag laps counted. The only lap that was completed under green was the lap coming to the checkers. They were wrecking even then. We started 36 cars that night and they finisher 14. The wrecker drivers were very busy that night.
It's a great work that the Lord has you doing. The Green's up, time to mat the loud pedal.
Peace
