Chopped '40 Ford Coupes

I definitely need to be gettin' me another 40 coupe and a 39/40 tudor. I got some interesting ideas for them both. I might even try my hand at chopping the coupe. I might get the Lindberg coupe, since they say its as good as the AMT coupe, but I'm gonna have to get the AMT tudor. I may need to get a second fender/running board and 39 grill for the coupe, as they will both have that grill in them. I do have some custom ideas for them both.

You have got to finish that copper 40 coupe. I am so looking forward to seeing this one done since the first time I saw it on this group. I am really in love with that model. GIT-R-DUN dude!!! I'm sure a lot of people are looking for it to get finished.

I really hope so, because I really think that will be awesome when its done. I would like to get me one of them (Either AMT, Revell, or Lindberg). Im not as keen on Chopping the top, but I'd like to give it a try. because I really like yours. It is totally COOL!!!

Ok, Dave, its been a year since I checked this thread, Has anything been done on the taildragger 40 coupe? I just gotta ask, as that is one purty rod and I just can't get it out of my memory. I still need to get me another Coupe and a Sedan in order to try that look. I still say thats one Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet lookin' ride and that copper col.or is just beggin' to be gotten. Please say you got more done on it.

Dave, about all that has been done on any of the 3 Coupes is the 1 that is to eventually become the salt flat/dry lakes car has gotten chopped even further. We're in the process of rearranging the back entryway and then the hobby/computer room, once that is completed then more time can be dedicated to building, perhaps then the '40s can make it back to the bench.
