60 chevy truck "the outlaw"

Alright here is my 60 chevy truck. The name for it fits nicely as its being built for a build off called the gathering of the outlaws and well its got a toothed grill and 2 snorkels also known as eyes in the hood. ;D

This was supposed to be a simple build(remember i say simple but those who know me well know exactly i cannot pull of a simple build) All i wanted to do was lower the stance put on a different intake on the 235 and call it done. Then i talked to the guy who runs the build off and talked with some others about it and then it took a whole other dirrection. The rear of the frame has a minitruck c notch to get the bumper and rear bed bottoms to lay table ;D Next the motor got a totaly different intake then planned it has a revell 53 vette sidedraft intake and dual exhaust. I then made my own exhaust pipes(first time) and made a set of bellflower tips. Then i had my neck issues and then worked on it again. Before my neck stuff i had shaved the door handels fender emblems hood and made a air tank for it. Now i got the interior together drilled 2 small holes in the bed so i can plumb my air bags in the rear. The bellflower tips went into my model junkyard as i wanted lake pipes. I held em up to the car but dint not like it. Now it has a bedrail exhaust. The pipes will come up through the back stake pods run into a bigger pipe and exit alittle past the end of the bed. Currently i am trying to finish up smotthing the body out and then its into paint. I had to get the interior fitted in there which was a pain as the glass was somehow in the way. Anyway nough jabbering here are some pics

Why do I keep getting the thoughts that one of these days, soon, Flow, that you're gonna be driving a 1:1 lookin' a lot like this? IIRC you even got one of them sidedraft intakes in 1:1 on one of those 1:1 235s you &your Dad scored not too long ago, right? You's just workin' out the details on these here 125s

Those bedrail exhausters totally rock! but are they legal?

Aint real crazy 'bout the stance, but for some reason I likes it! Methinks you shoulda left that taillight lense in the steering wheel unpainted & put a light in it, but still looks cool--and painful -- as is. What kinda paint you planning on getting it into? It's lookin' gooood

John. I will someday own a 60 chevy truck fleetside as when i first came to the u.s and went into a junkyard it was the first car that i saw and the first car that i really liked. It then before i left texas was parted out but it still may be there. Someday i will go to texas and see. The bed rail exhaust is legal it just needs to have mufflers or in my case cherrybombs(with baffels) to make it alittle quieter. The only thing that would be different on a 1:1 would be it would have some spacers on the bedrails so the paint dont blister and it would need to be cleared with high temp clear. But i have seen it like on my model on a real truck. And no i do not have a corvette setup yet ;D it will be in my future tho to get one lol.

The color. The color will be the same green as on the interior panels which is testors laquer lime ice. The top will be the same gold as the insterts on the door panels. Simple but it will look really good with the chrome silver exhaust and the chrome silver rims and then that motor oooh now i really want the real thing lol ;D
