The A Kart has always been one of my favorite kits. Sometimes just as a parts source and other times as a builder.
Love the look of it in a different color combination, gives it a totally unique look.

This is one of my favorites that you've done, Alex.
I've always loved the Ala Kart, but in typical late 50's fashion it leaned towards the garish side.
The colors chosen still retain a 50's feel, and really show the true styling.

Alex:
That is a fine looking Kart. I'm not sure about the gold color (one of my quirks, I'm not fond of Golds or Reds any more, Sorry). I think the build is beautiful, and I'm sure you like the color, but its just a thing of mine. There are just some colors that turn me off on a model. Like I said, very nice build on it. Love that first Gen Hemi.

Alex:
The camera is misleading. It looks gold on my comp. but Bronze is a cool color on a model. If you try another one, try drilling out the injector stacks. I was able to do that on a Monogram 29 Ford RPU and, with a little patience, can be done without crushing the stacks. Be gentle with whatever you use to hold the stacks while drilling, or just drill a little way into the stack for the realistic effect. Its worth the effort.

Thanks, Dave... Believe it or not everything that I drill, I hold in my hamhocks fingers. That way I KNOW they will not be crushed...lol. There IS another one in my future, as I was able to get a couple from a friend for free. I already have my plans pretty much set for them, and they will definately be different, just you guys wait and see. Alex

Ok Alex, that sounds like a plan to me. Look forward to seeing them when finished. I'm working on a 29 Roadster and it is going to have the optional Dodge Red Ram in the engine compartment, as soon as I can dig up a suitable intake system for it. I really don't care for the Blower and supercharger on it so now I have to search the spare parts box. I have some ideas but not completely sure.

Well, I for one love what you did with a car that is almost as old as me. Excellent craftsmanship!
