Praise The Lord! I just heard a bit of the swearing in of the Hispanic lady to the supreme court. Best part was when she repeated the words "...so help me God."
As much ado and talk by some is always going on about how God aint politically correct and HE should be deported, etc, etc,.....HE still reigns. May HE richly bless those responsible for keeping HIS name (and HIM) in our governing bodies.
Just consider:
1) HIS name is spoken in these ceremonies
2) HIS name is broadcast thru the airwaves, over the 'net,
in print-- whether simply included as part of the reporting
and/or whether doing so sparks a public debate in
another broadcast, etc.
3) Those involved in the ongoing 'battle' over whether HE
should be a part of our government-- both sides-- HE
and HIS people cannot and will not be ignored, like
"burning coals of fire"
4) All those people involved in the 'behind the scene' work-
making sure the microphones work, making sure the sound
is right, making sure HIS name is spelled correctly in the
print and on the 'net, that the text containing HIS name fits
the page right, even those who must make the decision of
when to drop the story from any more media coverage, and
on and on... HE is still so totally in control.
5) HIS name is spoken in these arenas-- and HIS people
praise HIM!!!
