Tried posting this up the other day, but been struggling a bit of late and not being able to think, or fly, straight at times, didn't realize I hadn't logged in  .......andyhows, got the 34 off the tube-- glue been dried fer awhile, so twere time to start cuttin' again-- and without fear!  Set the body on and started nibbling away just enuff to clear the frame rails...  ....kept nibbling until it sat down nicely around the tranny.  Lookin' mucho better, but a chop is in order  ![]() [/img] Put close to 1/4" of pinstriping tape around the posts and started sawin'   Success!  First look see, and it looks like I'm gonna have to review Fletch's chopchop tutorial   Methinks it's coming along nicely so far. Later & God bless |

Me thinks it is a very WILD Hot Rod, too!! You're the plastic cuttin' master!!! I've got an extra body you could cut up for the filler pieces through the middle, if you want it?  |

Brother John, man that beast gets meaner looking by the day. I think we need to find a tuner to feed it. A fillet of CRX should do nicely!!!!!!

Thanks fellers. While I was girding up my loins so's I could start choppin' up the roof (again  ) I figured I'd do a little mockup to see what I gotta do with the front end...  ... that's gonna need some imagineering Well, enuff of that, 'twas time, so I started cutting again...   Cutting & gluing and wound up with...  Just don't understand why it don't look like one of Dave's chopped 40s....... ;D ;D   Gotta agree with yinz's-- it is lookin' mean-- Thanks to Kit Karson for the extra 34 body he sent so's I can fill in some spaces. When I opened the box I didn't even recognize it as a 34-- it being stock & all ;D ;D Thanks Kit Later and God bless |

That's a whole lot of cutting you've got going there John. It doesn't look like one of my '40 Coupes because you're working on a '34!!!!!!!!
Besides, I don't think I've ever cut one down the middle before. That's uncharted territory even for me.
