Chip, those are absolutely awesome. I've seen ships in bottles but, can't remember ever seeing dioramas built in light bulbs.
That has to be some extraordinarily precise building to accomplish those builds without damaging the bulbs.

Gotta agree with Dave, Chip-- those are really incredible! I think I can see how you did the Natilus and Squid in the 100Watt bulb, but how in the world did you do the Moby Dick one? That is really cool-- almost like seeing a magician do a trick right in front of ya. Later and God bless

The Great White Whale came from Pet World and I cut it in half. It was Grey so had to be painted with acrylic white. The blood is Candy Apple Red. The sea is modeling clay. Of course It is hard to visualize how everything got in the bulb. .....This is the secret.: The base is an old CD I cut it into sections and taped it back together over the seams. Like an accordian effect. That enabled me to insert it into the bulb and unfold it. Of course i cut the center hole larger to place the whale etc into the bulb. Just like my Ships in Bottles I build everything is built outside the container and inserted into the bottle or bulb. It was a pain but very rewarding when finished. Thanks for your comments. God said we are a peculiar people. I think I just proved it. LOL Chip
