From your posting of the daily devotion, Dave-- good and faithful servant, thank you for being a friend to me. Not only Dave, but all who have 'recieved' me, and 'served' me. I am soooo thankful to God for all the friends HE has blessed me with, and I am also soooo thankful that HE has helped me to be a friend to others. 'I have called you friends......' Thank you Lord, for friends, for their prayers, and the opportunities to pray for them. It is becoming so very clear to me, God's answering the prayers of my friends. Thank you all, and may HE richly bless you.  |

John, my friend, it is an honor to be on this journey with you.
The thing I am always amazed by, but really shouldn't be is how God is using the Internet. We all have knowledge of the wild wild west atmosphere of most websites. Most everyone is afraid to say anything about someones behavior even when they are totally offended. After all, how dare we tread on someone's freedom of speech.
As we all know we were not given a spirit of timidity, but unfortunately that is how it is the major part of the time. I grant you when we stand up for what is right you will step on some toes. To paraphrase Jesus' words if they don't lend an ear to your words, shake the dust off your sandals and move on.
To bring this full circle, God is using the Internet to bring Glory to His Kingdom. Groups like this not only allow us the chance to enter the most Holy place and enter the presence of God, but allows us to bolster one another daily.
As Satan told God in Job when ask, Where have yuo come from? Satan replied, "From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it." Satan is a roaming lion looking for his next victim. As friends we can double our field of vision by watching each others back.
It's late and I'm rambling, and as the song goes. Emanuel, God is with us!
