Alright this is anothe build off car for a build off fletch started on trak. Its the revell 50 ford build off. I have another one for that build off that is a full kustom but i am alittler burned on it right now. So i went to the hobby shop and got a revell 50 ford truck and 29 ford truck. Also got a can of one coat gold metalic testors laquer. I wanted to run the 5 spokes from the 29 a kit but they will need some addapting if i want them so i painted the stock steelies for now i can still change over later. This is not only for the buildoff but it will be one of the 2 trucks that will go to nnl san diego for the judging towards maybe becomming a member at m.c.b.a. Started last night, got the motor block glued together. It will be cleaned up today and then shot in red or maybe lauqer? ;D Gonna start cleaning up the frame so there are no injector marks of mold lines. Gona lower the punk by an axel over spring conversion Oh yeah baby. Also started cleaning up the cab. Cab has been slightly shaved atleast the f-1 badges. The door handels are staying. The fender assembly has also had the ford letters removed. The frame will recieve a rear trailer hitch. I will build a trailer and have a testors bonnevile go cart that will be on the trailer(see thread in general section for go cart) Onto the pics The victim(i mean kit) The rims i wanna run. I think HE is makeing sure i dont run them as i think HE wants to see them on another project. Bare frame with the motor block just set in The rims painted Dash that is painted and waiting for some detail painting Exhaust system with removed mold lines and interior panels that are primed Hope you guys dig it. Thanks and God Bless Florian

Yep, I be diggin' it Flow! Sounds like a very cool project. Dat 'go kart'-- is it perhaps a 1/32 buildem up? That's a cool score you made at that show. Couldn't tell from yer post if'n you're gonna paint the truck red, but a nice sugary candy red apple sure would go so fine with them gold steelies. Hope you buried them 'rims' that came with the kit in a real deep hole somewhere ;D ;D Later and God bless

Fletch: the color will be the gold. As fer the go cart. Yeah its 1/32 scale but still big enough not to fit in the truck bed. Zipper: the gold is the new testors laquer. The color is called inca gold. Great stuff. Dries smooth. Ok after gettin little lightheaded i stopped. But i started on my seat. Chopped out the center of the extra seat and started adding in the half round for tuck and roll. I painted my motor block. I took the spare tire and went ahead and drilled out the lug nut holes. Went ahead and painted it too. Also got my wheels mocked up for the first time. Also mocked up the truck for the first time to see my ride heigh. Looks awsome. By friday i should have most of it done. Onto the pics truck mocked up. It has the frame sitting on the axels so its pretty close to its sitting wheels mocked up Spare tire after drilling out the holes spare after paint in tire Motor painted motor in frame floor pan painted Extra seat before it went to the stripper after stripper after a meet with the dremmel and file starting of tuck and roll when i got lightheaded(later went away and finished the seat) Hope ya like

Ok nother update even though i didnt get as much done as i wanted too. The california june gloom weather is here(not so hot, somewhat humid, and very windy and cloudy weather). Problems it created were kind small but again kinda big. The one major prob is that now of the 2 primers i have dried You could touch them but they were still moist enough the scratch right through them with your finger nail So anyway. I cleaned up my seat littlebit and primed it to find out still needs a ton of work to look nice. I painted my interior side panels white and then shot the little panel on the bottom with testors one coat gold. ;D Next came the exhaust. I painted the mufflers red(cherry bombs baby the mufflers that dont do anything to the sounds just make your car louder ;D ) I also stripped my carbs from the chrome removed the mold lines, painted the carb aluminum with copper scoops. Tomorrow the scoops will get a black dot in the cents and then they will go on the intake. I also detail painted the dash alittle. Looks good. I glued on the front fender part on to the body. Started sanding it smooth then primed. Also found out after the moist primer that i sill need to fill in something on the chopped out for emblem. Ok onto the pics primered seat painted wheel backs detailed exhaust Base coated interior panels Gold with white side panels(after a gold dusting) Mocked up inteior(without seat) Fenders with front added Car sitting on ground with rims Car sitting on ground with rims just car is primered detailed dash carbs primered frame Hope ya guys like Thanks and God Bless Florian

Great to see you playing with plastic Florian! That gold is BRIGHT! YOU are "going to be" a force to deal with when you "get good" Just kidding. I would not want to face your builds in a contest! From following many of your earlier builds on MCM, your improvement is amazing. Wishing y'all well. God Bless! Don.

Also got my frame painted. and also got most of my motor assembled. painted and primed parts Motor Trailer hitch how too The frame Add a rear crossmember on the outside of the rails Spare tire still fits The view from the rear. The crossmember will show Cut a peice of round evergreen tube. This shouldnt be bigger that the cross member. Make it little longer till its in Drill a hole the size of the tube in the center of the crossmember Glue the tube in the hole. Modifie the rear pan on the fender unit Next get some more tube and glue some rod inside. This will be the removeable part. Leave the rod sticking out that will be showed into the other tube Next take a needle after puting the reomveable part to the other tube and heat the needle and show it through The needle then can be romoved the pointey part removed a peice cut off and then bent to make a small pin Next add another peice of tube to the end. This will be the trailer reciever. This will when the trailer is build have another needle shoved through to hold the trailer in Hope you guys like it. ;D
