My aeroplane model building buddy turned me on to this site. Possibly more for a collector, but.......some way cool old timey models and pictures of the boxes, etc. This here 32? only $525! a real steal! many of the models are still sealed. Some, like this here 32, 'twould be a sin to actually build. Here's the clinker for it: www.oldmodelkits.com/index.php?detail=6917&page=22&manu=MonogramNo more pics here, but they are on the site: www.oldmodelkits.com/Here's one you might like 84Vanagon ;D, a 1/4 scale slanty 6!!! and only costs as much as the real thing! $750!!! www.oldmodelkits.com/index.php?detail=6629&scale=1/4Heres a real nice '40 Ford pickup custom kit for only $225 www.oldmodelkits.com/index.php?detail=6616&page=20&manu=MonogramNice site. You can pick from different categories, different scales, and different manufacturers. I done checked out all the Monogram listings. Lots of planes and boats, including very early solid wood plane kits. Interesting if nothing else. Although the 1/32 B25 plastic model made for control line flying at only $650 just might find its way........uh, somewhere---certainly not my place!! ;D Later and God bless

Agreeably there are some very cool models for sale there but, the majority of the sellers must think we're all a bunch of idiots with their pricing. There are kits listed that are still on the shelves of most of the shops here for MSRP that they have listed for $50+.
What's that saying, "I may have been born at night , but it wasn't last night!"
LOL ;D ;D ;D ;D

I've been on that site from time to time. The most I've paid for a model is $90.00 for an unbuilt 1967 issue Revell VW bus. I bought it's twin a few months later off of the 'bay for $38.00 including shipping . I (as of yet) refuse to pay over a c-note for a model. If I did I don't think I could bring myself to build it.
