Alright nother. ;D This one is well i makeover of a reissued kit. It is(well was) a linberg 48 lincoln continetal. When i opened the kit i thought why did HE tell me to buy this kit. The frame on this one is really crudy just a peice of plastic with some moldmarks. The motor well what can i say it looks like i rectangle with an intake and exhaust manifold The inteior well its molded to the body sides. The fit of the front end. Lets say it took me 2 days to get that to join with the body. I had to light the fenders on fire to get it on!!!! After days of work i was close to put it away when HE told me to keep on working on this one. Out came my favorite things, my parts box, glue, dremel, putty, styreen hacksaw, and some uh i forgot what else lol. My parts box gave me a nice 57 chevy front kustom pan and a set of headlight vessels from the amt 50 ford convert kustom front end. The rear trunk was bugging the heck out of me. Out came the dremel and out went to stock trunk. It was then replaced with styreen sheet stock. The top was chopped and the top molded on. It now may be cut back off though for a speedster look. I am thinking about modding the rear fenders with some 54 packard rear lights. The motor is still up in the air but i may stuff a resin lincoln v 12 in this one. The chassie will probably a kustom build one as usual ;D
Enough of my ramblings on to the pics.
Before any mods
After trunk fix
After starting the chop
After some hard core reshaping and puttying
I now have figured out why HE made me buy this kit. To do something different and to give me a modeling challange almost like a build off ;D
Thanks and God Bless
