That is coming along nicely John. I don't know about you but if I have to send something to the purple pond I loose interest in it quickly, it's only with the encouragement of others does it get finished. Otherwise, It would become just another parts source.
So, Come on Big John let's get this build on the road, the new color looks great and I love the interior shots, very nice indeed.
Blessings

You gonna love this one Brother Dave ;D Sat me down at the bench, having recieved a bit more freedom of movement for my hand with the broken pinky, in the form of a removable splint. So I did a little detail painting, then started super gluing parts to the engine and the Cragars to the wheel backs..... Glued the Cragar/Firedstones on & it's sittin' fine on all fours , but...since adding the generator to the small block--- it don't fit! Very first thing I thought of was gettin' on Dave's case about makin' sure his engine fit in his '50 ah yes, what did HE say? somethin' about reaping what we sow? ;D or was it somethin' about a flattie in my brother's Ford, when I gots a too big smallie wedged in my Chebby ? ;D Well, it's just gonna hafta be anther curbslider-- never did see much sense in plummin' an engine what's hid under a hood, so the smallie gonna wind uo in some rod without a hood. Yep, I chequed and dat big old hood would cover up that lopsided smallie, but I just can't do it Saw the sun peeking thru, so trucked the 50 curbslider outside fer a couple pics. getting surgery on me pinky Thursday, so........I's gonna try & get some more done, but Later & God bless

Looking good, John!
Those 50' G.M. pick-em ups were made for Cragars, and that color came out oh so sweet.
God bless. Don.

Great Progress John that '50 Chevy is coming along nicely. I understand where you're coming from with the broken pinky. In '84 I broke 3 fingers on my left hand, from the middle finger out to the pinky, I don't I've ever felt that much pain before. It was easily 3-4 weeks before I even considered building. The fun part was signing the Workman's Comp checks as I'm left handed. Thank goodness for photo ID.

Thanks fer all the encouraging words my Brothers. Slowly but surely the 50 is coming together. Noticed in a lot of the pics I been taking of these here Cragars that you can't see a lot of detail, so I thinned some India ink and brushed it into the nooks & crannies. Methinks it helps a lot Also getting the frame tidied up, with a litttle dry-brushing on the radiator (which don't leak BTW). Also found some nice orange shocks for the rear end which should be installed soon. Later & God bless
