This is coming along nicely. That is a nice looking custom 37 pickup. What color are you planning on for it? Keep us up to date on its progress. Dave I totally agree! I've been so far away from my bench over the past few weeks... it almost hurts... He has been keeping me really busy doing so much with Him!! Ya'll be Blessed now... ya hear!

Thanks guys. Plans are for a flat olive drab sorta body color, with The Cross and 'John 3:16' in red, all atop a rusty chassis. I'm getting excited, wanting to get some paint on the chassis, but have been getting a lot done before I can do that. Also, going to hand paint "Work in Progress" in white on each of the doors Used some heavy monofilament to make brake hoses for the front.... ... and rear As usual, I didn't think ahead far enuff - - and had to modify the bed side so it would fit down on the frame over those rear brake hoses ;D ;D-- but it's good now Nice that HE keeps inspiring me on this build, so I just grabbed some sprue, put some heat to it, so..... .... I could straighten it out, because.... ..... we're putting stacks on this here Christian Cruiser 'mail box' ;D ;D ( that stack is still in the very rough phase-- they'll be refined to look more realistic ) Thanks for looking and God bless

Thanks Wes. I did find some kind of clear plastic in my stash of clear packaging materials and was able to get it to work for the back window. Just have to wait until I can spend another bit of time at the bench to make a windshield out of it & get it in. Only other kind of major work now is fabbing up an exhaust system, with glass packs, and hooking it up to the stacks Later & God bless

John, when I chop something I usually end up using the clear plastic from any one of several sources of shrink wrap packaging. One of my favorite sources is the plastic packaging from Hot Wheels, it is usually tall and wide enough to fit most 1/25th scale windows.
Blessings

I thought the glass packs were already in the stacks... Hmm...... guess I could say that, go with that, Wes, but methinks they'll look better hanging under the chassis That way, I also get to scratchbuild 'em Later & God bless

Lovin' it John!! Thanks Don-- me too! Thanks too, Brother Dave. I do save a lot of the shrink wrap plastic, but never saved any Hot Wheels plastic coz my grandson likes getting them un-opened ;D I have trouble using superglues-- have gotten migraines from using it so close to my nose -- so I have to try and find clear that I can use 'regular' cement with. I have taken to wearing a respirator and superglueing in my paint booth, but I still have trouble with some of the superglues-- get too much out, or not enough. I'll just have to keep practicing I guess Later and God bless
