This is my version of Bill Cushenberrys "El Matador" I first saw this car when a teen ager and never forgot it. Just have to buy a small paint brush today and paint candy red on the chrome wheels. I have had this resin model for 5 years and it's just about complete. The tires are U.S.Royal Masters, probably can't even find them any more. Paint is House of Kolor Candy Red over Gold base. with Tamiya Clear. Hosted on FotkiHosted on Fotki Hope you enjoy. Vmaxdreamer

I remember this well . Nice build . Excellent finish . The US Royals aren't even heard of today . Let alone modeled . Check R&M of Maryland . I think Norm may still be casting these ? God Bless you and yours ..Thanx ..

Very nice Chip! Nice to look at, and nice to remember the kustoms like this that I saw as a young'un. Every time I see one like this, I'm tempted to do something similar. There's just something about sanding all that putty soooooo smooth and then seeing the kandy shine! Thanks for sharing, and the memories Later and God bless

Nice job on a classic custom. You really did that one justice. I never saw the real deal, but that looks great.
