This '26/'27 Sedan was at the Hunnert Car Pile up earlier this month. The Sedan has the look that just says 'Hot Rod', about the only thing I would change about the Sedan is I'd have built it with a flathead in place of the SBC. So, you guessed it the project will end up with a Flatty sitting between the frame rails. The flatty will get Offy center port heads and a dual carb manifold from MCG. The frame will end up being scratch built from Evergreen Styrene using part box rear end and front axle. The artillery wheels and tires from a Spec-Cast '36 Dodge Pickup will get the nod for the build. Got the chop done on the body, the only body I had available was from the '26 Sedan Delivery, the window panels had already been glued in place and required that they be removed. The window molding did not exactly cooperate when the panels were removed, so the molding will get replaced with "live rubber" that I use to make legs when tying fishing flies. Hosted on FotkiThere you have it, the start of yet another project. Blessings Dave, Please bring this over to TRaK & we'll make it "T" for 4our! Wes

Might not be 'much to look at' for some peeps Kit, but I sure enjoyed it! Sometimes the mockups are more work than the actual modeling, eh? Nice job! I love the Slime oozing out of them skinnies ;D Has nice proportions, and that roof & molding looks awesome! I'll have to post up some pics of the '37 pu I'm workin' on..... Later and God bless

I've had the privilege of watching this from the start on both facebook and over on Traditional Rod and Kustom, it is a wild build that's for certain. What is interesting is there are 3 or 4 of us building on TRaK and about the same number building on facebook, you should see how different a common kit can be build when different minds and prospectives start cutting and fitting on a '26 Sedan.
Keep building Brother Wes, this is going to be one seriously awesome wild ride when finished.
Peace

Got some work done on the Sedan, seems this build has fought me at every turn, you think you have all the bodywork done only to apply paint and discover that there is still more to do. Today I added the taillights from a Revell '37 Ford, the ends of the taillights will be drilled out so the MV Product lens can be added. Got other bits and pieces painted as well, yes it was a 'get something painted' kind a day. MCG Offy Center port Heads. MCG Flathead Dual Carb Manifold. Resin Shack Sprint Car Seats. The right shoulder guards were removed to better fit the build. The seat rears will be masked to allow the tuck 'n roll to be painted to replicate naugahyde. Hosted on FotkiThe basecoat of HoK Black was applied, it's amazing how even when you think the bodywork is done another coat of paint shows you different. I'll give the body a couple a days to cure then go over it with 1000 wet/dry then it's time to shoot the HoK Passion (yep, decided to change the color) and get this thing done.
