Teri says she needs to talk to your wife, as none of my hobby/computer room even begin to resemble yours.
Very cool Brother.

Teri, please accept my apology and if you'd like I will delete this thread. Dave, didn't mean to start something! My wife is not thrilled that much about it, either! She wants to convert it to a prayer room.

It's not a problem Wes, she was having a bit of fun at my expense. She is a true blessing to me and my life. As long as I clean up the mess I take out into the front room so we can spend more time together she is ok with the other bedroom door being closed. But, she did say something about my taking over her computer desk. Something about getting her computer put back together so she can have her computer desk back.
Blessings

Very impressive. It seems that award winning builders such as your self seem to make their best models in less than 12 square inches. The rest of the room is for our obsession with collecting. I speak from experience as I took over the garage and at one time had six display cases . Hundreds of unbuilt kits just in case I needed that one part for a project. Pedal cars hanging from the ceiling, etc I finally came to my senses and got rid of all but the essentials to really enjoy the hobby again

I'm right there with you... 'cause, you know, less that 5 minutes after I enter Heaven it'll all belong to someone else, which is way OK with me! After my wife saw that I had posted the pics, she said that since I already did all the advertising, that it was well past time to have a garage sale! For more information, dial 1-800-ain't-no-way!! I like the looks of your work room. I have a fairly good sized room, but I'm unable to get any pix of it 'cause the camera I have is missing the instruction manual and I'm not sure how to download what I have on there now. We'll see in the future.

Mate, that is one cool modeling room. Thanks, Bro... Now if I could just find my way back to it!?. Haven't darkened the door way in a very long time! Not because a haven't wanted to, but there are a bunch of things going on that have kept me away from there. Too many distractions... family, life, work or not to work... that is the question?!. Plain and simple my priorities are as follows: God, Family, Work, Model Cars and last, but not least, Sleep! btw Fellow Forum Friends - I try to keep up with the activities going on here and keep you all in my daily prayers! In His Holy Name, Amen

VERY nice man-cave! LOL!,I took over the corner of the living room, but just for building Hoping that after finally getting approved on disability next year, when parts of the back-pay check goes fro some "remodeling",she'll include tearing out the kitchen porch (needs rebuilt anyways) and building a "hobby room"

Well now that I have a better light for the work room, "The Swamp" as I like to refer to it, maybe I can start doing some building. That is as soon as I get the wheels back from my friends house. He's doing the repairs after my minor disaster from last Aug. He just got laid off and will have some free time on his hands after setting up for unemployment. That just sux though, getting laid off just before Christmas. At least he gets full benefits through NYS unemployment. We'll see how things go.

Well, to keep this thread going, I'll post a couple of pics of my little corner of the model world. The room is a sort of office , computer room AND MY SPACE. hereis my side Finally scaled down the stach to what's over the bench and the shelves. Figured if I built all the ones I had I'd have to live to around 102, don't think I'd be able to see the little parts by then. So it's down to a mear 89 kits? ;D ED
