Before I took on a church as pastor, I was (still am) a fully trained architectural designer. One of my favorite tasks was to build models of the proposed homes. I sure wish I still had some of the photo's to share. Any of you do buildings and homes to scale?

Howdy, and Welcome, Parson Tim! I used to build some model houses, think I did one of the house I used to own (was paying for anyway), but like you, have no pictures of any of them. Did a few buildings for my younger brother's 'O' gauge trains, etc. Probably my favorite, and most prolific, 'house' buildings were for the little N scale train layouts I used to make for under the Christmas tree. I used to put yellow tissue paper in the windows and a grain of wheat lite bulb inside, hook 'em up to the one side of the transformer. Really looked nice in a darkened room, almost Tom Kinkaide-ish looking little scenes. Welcome again. Hope you enjoy your time here. Later and God bless

Hi Parson Tim, I bet you'll be able to make some great garages or dioramas. I'm in the process of a diorama now. You can see some of my stuff at public.fotki.com/daydreamer4/Let me know what you think. Do you have any pictures of some of your models?
