Hey Grandad! Nice work! Love the cannon  ! Is it scratchbuilt? I did one from plans in an old Popular Science years ago.......I'd post pix of it, but methinks one of my ex'x has it--and I aint about to go back there lookin fer it! The one I scratched was for 'Old Ironsides' with the 4 layered up wooden wheels and big stepped timber carriage. Just wonderin' how you did the spoked wheels on yours-- looks great! I did a lot of research and planned on doin' a couple like yours, but never got around to it. Also wanted to build a full size replica (like yours) and put it in me front yard, but couldn't figure which neighbor to 'point' it at, so I never did build it up...........trying to live at peace with them all & such  Later and God bless  |
