One of the 1:1 cars that was at this years, GoodGuys Pacific NW Nationals was this '32 Chrysler Sedan. The thing that intrigued me with the Sedan was that it was shortened and made to take on the look like a Bantam Coupe/Sedan. Hosted on FotkiThere is little chance of producing the shortened Sedan 100% accurately. However, with Revell's '32 Ford Sedan a reasonable replica can be built. This is something a bit different from the Traditional Rods and Customs that have been on the bench in the past couple of years, but I think it will be a learning experience as the frame and other things will require a fair amount of scratch building. public.fotki.com/dcfletcher/model-cars/projects-2009/chopper-channeled-a/

;)Kool looking rod Dave. Good thing you said a "reasonable replica" could be made! Looks like the tubbing and rear windows treatment will be the most difficult/fun part of the scratchbuilding, but methinks you're up to it ;D Later and God bless

I don't know KK, but if you or anyone else is game then let's see how close we can get to it using the Revell '32 Ford Sedan. There is some serious body work to get the Revell Sedan to reasonable close to the one seen at GoodGuys. What do you say 6 months based on the body work required. The engine is a big block Chevy. There are 14 photos in the album covering just about every angle of the Sedan. I will check with other SABA members who were there to see if they have any additional shots of the sedan. Blessings Fletch

I'm ok with March 1, 2011, better chance of getting it done then the pressure of a 6 month build.
