Ok its done. After having a cab melt on me and such i finished it. But the details. Its revells First issue 37 Ford truck. Started with a stock kit just cause i wanted to be different. Robbed the new version for the 37 truck for the dual exhaust trim rings, the bed stakes and well a mirror. The motor was modded with an Replicas and Miniatures eddie meyer hop up kit. The front axel was dropped using another axel. The artilleries are modded with trim rings covering the little gaps. The bed has 3 old amt gas cans and the stock flathead heads. No tailgate because well it didnt fit. Besides this thats it. The color is one coat star spangle blue and bright sun yellow. Thats it. Needs some touch up here and there but this was a fun project. Hope you like it

Really cool . The '37 Ford Truck grille and Radiator Shell found it's way on many , many , Rods of the day . It didn'd have to go far on this '37 Ford . Everything screams Rod and Custom . Very Cool . Thanx ..

Number 7 for the year. Has a story

The year is 1960. Young kid with a passion for hot rods comes home to find that his parents had sold off his 29 ford roadster becasue they did not like him toying with hot rods. Mad he tells his parents that no matter what they did they would not stop him from building hot rods. Luckly his parents didnt go inside the barn and find the hot rodded lincoln motor sitting on the stand. He remembered that the junkyard had a crusty old 25 t roadster truck sitting at the back of the property. He hops in his truck and runs over there with 30 dollars in his pocket. He told the junkyard owner that he was interested and would give him 25 dollars for the car. The owner accepts the offer and they walk out to take a look at the car. It had been an hot rod before its fate at the junkers. The motor was long gone, tires bad, interior missing a couple peices and quiet rusty. Kid then drags the car home and spends the 5 bucks on some new rear shocks, shifter, a 60 chevy truck sterring wheel and column, and some used white walls. He drops in the brand new lincoln and trows the car together while still angry at his parents. The end result. A racer that would run on the dirt or street with lots of power.

Amt 25 t. Pretty box stock, Parts box carbs, 60 chevy truck sterring column and sterrign wheel, and 59 el camino rear wheels. Everything weathered exept motor. Built in 3 days. Hope you like

Thanks guys for all the wonderfull coments about my builds. Really means alot to me.

Here is number 8 for this year. Its amts double dragster frame that used to run 2 injected chevy small blocks and a different body. Orignaly built in the 60s it was. I was about to buy it off of ebay and had not many plans. Then i bought an orignal amt double dragster parts kit and ideas started flowing. Ripped the old chassie aparts dropped in a 216 inline 6 chevy with a scratchbuilt intake that runs the kustom carbs from the amt 53 ford truck. The exhaust is scratchbuilt the fuel lines are scratchbuilt and the distributer is scratched. I scratch built the front axel but used the spring from the kit axel. I modified the kits hair pins to look nicer. I then went ahead the took a fiat body and cut modified and fitted it onto the chassie. The boddy has new wheel wells, molded in fire wall, spare tire area filled, back of the top recut, beltline removed from doors back, push bar holes filled old wheel wells filled in, body line above side windows shaved, and the door lines and hinges shaved. It was then coated in hok solar gold then apple red kandy then apple red kandy intesifier and ice red pearl then a few healthy coats of clear. The frame is solar gold. Front wheels are from a testors die cast t bucket kit. The paint has a few ghosted in flying eyeballs here and there. Well thats it any question comments welcome.

Whoa! Driver really gonna hold on to that steery wheel, what with them pie crusts so handy like.

Really gotta see this PhotoShop-ed doing a burnout-- I'm going to see what I can do about that

thank you john. Im glad you like it. The fan blades provide some more cooling to the motor(not that anyone every ran cooling systems in the first place but i think if a young guy on a budget were building this he would make sure the motor would last). Im glad your digging this build and i cant wait to see the photoshop.

Sounds good to me Florian-- coz I'd probably do the same thing! so I could race another day! Ah, who am I kidding?!-- I'd probably blow it up first time out! ;D ;D

Well got another racer done. Quick finish so to say took me a year to complete it but thats another story. ITs a testors streamliner. Simple kit with axels just poping inside the body. Fun to build. The color is a red mettalic from nissan over a midnight blue and that was sprayed over the deep gray mettalic. Fun to do and got 2 more to build ;D
